On Average…

108 people die every minute across the world.

250 babies are born every minute.

The average Facebook user spends 24 hours a month on Facebook. (Notice I said average LOL – we all know people who spend WAY more time on FB!)

44,481 tweets occur per minute.

Oprah makes $523 a minute.

3 violent crimes are committed in the United States.

There are 9 new HIV infections.

Every SECOND 750,000 gallons of water flow over Niagra Falls.
Every SECOND 1,978 videos are watched on YouTube.
210 minutes are spent in the bathroom.
An average American spends about 100,000 hours working in their lifetime.
With so much going around you every second, minute and over the course of a lifetime I pose the question to you…what are you doing with you time?  Things are happening, people are accomplishing things, babies are being born, people are getting married – all of these things are occurring on a daily basis. What are you doing with your time?
It might take you about 5 minutes to read this post and in that time 540 people have died. What are you going to do within the next 5 minutes of your life (after reading this post LOL :)) to ensure you are going to leave an impact on someone’s life? Now I’m sure your wondering, “what can I do in 5 minutes that will make an impact on your or someone’s life?” You can hug someone, you can call someone you have not talked to in sometime, pay for someone’s lunch, you can pray (prayer changes things!),  take sometime from social networking and spend time with your family, you could help around the house or clean up you living space,  you can apologize to someone, you can decide to forgive someone, you could even start researching something you have been interested in doing for sometime.
How are you prioritizing your 24 gifted hours? Notice I said gifted…your life is not guaranteed. How are you dividing up your 1,440 minutes everyday. Every minute that you are able to inhale and exhale are valuable gifts. Are you wasting them? Time is something that you can never get back once it’s gone. Are you making the most of your time?
Love Ya!

2 people that I know passed away last night.

Really read the sentence above…2 people left the world yesterday. No warning, no note to give them a heads up…just gone.

While you were eating dinner, fussing with your husband/wife, angry with your mom, sitting and worrying about nothing…someone was took their last breath. One was 26 the other 50…

The purpose of this blog post is not to pound in your heads what you already should know…you should know that life is precious, and that you only get one chance, you should know to show and tell everyone that you love them and care for them. The purpose of today’s post is to simply ask you if your living or if your just existing.

If you were to take you last breath today, God forbid, what impact have you made? What are you leaving behind? Will people speak fondly of you? If your miserable…get happy! Just that simple, if your not happy with a situation then change it! Live! Why choose to spend your days in a funk?! If you do not have a relationship with Jesus than I encourage you today to get to know him…stop putting it off. That tugging on your heart is Jesus calling you into a better life. I implore you to ask him to come into your heart and get right with God. In fact let’s take a break from my blog right now! Jesus will meet you right where you are. Not sure how? I have listed a prayer right in this post…say it and mean it from your heart, make it yours:

“Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe in you and that your word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that he died on the cross so that I may now have forgiveness for my sins and eternal life. I know that without you in my heart my life is meaningless.

I believe in my heart that you, Lord God, raised Him from the dead. Please Jesus forgive me, for every sin I have ever committed or done in my heart, please Lord Jesus forgive me and come into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior today. I need you to be my Father and my friend.

I give you my life and ask you to take full control from this moment on; I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ.”

If you have prayed this prayer then I celebrate with you today my new brother/sister in Christ! Visit this site for awesome resources and information to guide you on your new journey—-> (click here)

I truly want you all to know that your life is nothing to be played around with. Please stop taking it so lightly. There is so much work to be done, so many hugs you have to give, so many lives that need to be touched and people who need to be encouraged and I challenge you today to make a choice to live better, be better, do what you said you’ve always wanted to do, forgive and move on, travel, laugh, create memories, take pictures, go to school if it’s what you want, open your business, buy the car, give Peaches $100 😉 lil joke (unless you want to lol).

I simply want you to sit and really evaluate your life and stop existing but start living! Christ came so that we may live and live life abundantly…make sure you are doing this!

Love Ya!!
